Frequently Asked Questions

FAQ

Do I need an appointment to shop for glasses?

No appointment is necessary. You’re welcome to stop by anytime to browse our eyewear selection and speak with one of our experienced opticians.

2

How long does it take to get my glasses?

Turnaround time depends on your prescription and lens type. If your prescription is in stock, we may be able to provide same-day service from our on-site optical lab. More specialized lenses typically take several business days.

3

Can I put new lenses in my existing frames?

Yes. We can replace the lenses in most frames. Before ordering, our opticians carefully inspect your frame to ensure it is suitable for re-lensing. While most frames hold up well, older frames may carry some risk, which we’ll review with you beforehand.

4

What types of lenses do you offer?

We provide a full range of prescription lenses, including:
•    Single-vision lenses
•    Progressive (no-line) multifocal lenses
•    Bifocal and trifocal lenses
•    Occupational lenses for computer and specialty work
•    High-index, CR-39, polycarbonate, and glass lenses

5

Do your lenses include a warranty?

Yes. Most of our lenses include a 12–18 month scratch warranty. If your lenses are damaged during that period, we can replace them for a nominal service fee to cover lab and shipping costs.

6

Do you fit contact lenses?

Yes. We offer professional contact lens fittings for both soft contact lenses and rigid gas permeable (RGP) lenses. We also fill existing contact lens prescriptions and for an additional fee can provide overnight shipping.

7

What if I break my glasses?

Bring them in. In many cases, we can repair or replace lenses quickly in our on-site lab. We’ll evaluate your glasses and recommend the best solution.

8

Do you accept outside prescriptions?

Yes. We specialize in filling your doctor’s prescription.
